EXPERIENCE
As Roadway Engineer, Samantha is responsible for the design and plan production of urban and rural highway/roadway projects. Her responsibilities include the design of horizontal and vertical geometry, maintenance of traffic, and drainage, as well as corridor modeling utilizing OpenRoads Designer. She is passionate about promoting the industry and serves on the Board of both WTS and ASHE to encourage more young women and men to study and work in engineering.
Before joining Compass, Samantha served as a roadway engineer at a large, global firm where she worked on a wide-range of roadway projects across the US, from major highway design-build projects, to local on-call projects.
Outside of the office, you will find Samantha spending time with her husband and German Shepherd. She enjoys her local sand volleyball league, running, and camping.
